  6. jimny... yay or gay?

^^ yeah i looked into the engine swaps but im still a bit iffy about some things.. i cant decide what i want.. went from best out of 3 to 2... firstly, daily driven with 31's, 3" lift, xrox bar + winch, roof basket, set of 6+8foot ladders, cable, tools, materials, cargo barrier (when we go camping all the weight from work stuff will prob be equal to camping gear) ect ect from what i understand i should expect around 10-15l/100... a 3ltr gu3 patrol returns around the same economy with the same mods... the gu can actually tow, wont struggle as much with all the extra gear, has more room, looks like a mans car and is proven to be quite strong on and off road the jimny is small, easy to park and manover off road, i dont care if people think its a homos car, im quiet comfortable with my sexuality and know i have a big wang.. but the whole when i need to tow something heavy i cant thing really puts me off... if only they brought out a more powerful motor... i cbf with the whole changing gearing/transfer case thing i dont have the time anymore.. another car that is also an option is the MN/ML triton, they look like that deliver everything I'd like, tow anything, suprising good on fuel, enough power, comfy, looks awesome but again i cant decide between this or a gu............... argh!!!
  7. Think before running from police

Don't run from the police? "She said the pursuit was terminated before the crash."
  8. Think before running from police

Btw some of you have some good arguments... But I honestly think it would do more good being sent to your local pm, the traffic minister or the media.
  9. Think before running from police

Wow.... Ok... Some of you know what was done to my old 32 (full cage, primer, mismatched wheels ect ect) and that I used to drive it everywhere; in the city for work, cruises, hills, hwy fri night, everywhere - it was my daily. I have a fair amount of run ins with not only hwy patrol but also the local vans, and I have NEVER been picked on for minor things like tint, load ratings. In 3 years or ownership and litterally around 15-20 run ins with the police I only recieved 1 minor defect: steering wheel not padded (fair enough I can see the safety aspect in a collision), pod and intercooler (I don't blame the hwy patrolmen, did have a noticeable loud spool n dose) 2nd defect: major height, tires protruding guards (I had rubber n scratches from delman all over my guards lol) and rears were on belts - I was the fk wit too lazy to swap my wheels that day... Shit happens. All my other run ins have been defect free, EPA free, infringement free... Im sorry, but if some of you are copping defects for stupid shit, you must be a total f**kwit! We have been caught sliding in the industrials and hills by the police, they say what they have to say, we had a ciggie together and they were on their way. It's all attitude - they are human beings just like you. The police are just doing their job - if you make it harder for them, trust me they will make it much harder for you.
  10. jimny... yay or gay?

Yeah :/ fair point. How many revs do they sit on @ 100 (provides jimny/vitara have same box/diff ratios)? I'm just going to get one set of Baja MTs or bfg mts and that's it. Same tyre for all types of comuting
  11. jimny... yay or gay?

Far out, I thought these things would be good on fuel even with the gear.. I'm getting 11.5 lts/100 on my bf ute with hardlid and tools/cable/material.
  12. jimny... yay or gay?

I hear they are a bit roomier? What are the differences?
  13. jimny... yay or gay?

Maybe u gotta look into that atari.. Replace o2 sensor at all?
  14. jimny... yay or gay?

    Agreed, that's tuff! 10 ltrs/100 seems a bit steep for a little 1.3
  15. jimny... yay or gay?

Yeah... Might go to a dealership just so I don't waste some poor blokes time... Says 7.5 ltrs per 100kms, how does she go with Tyres bar lift ect?
